Camp Timeline & Payment Policy

🗓️ Camp Timeline
  • Camps are generally for 3 days / 2 nights and are spread across Karnataka.
  • Camps span 12 locations and form the foundation of Nature Integrated Learning.
  • Summer & Winter camps can be 4 to 7 days across India and South-East Asia.
💳 Payment Schedule
  • Advance — 70% must be paid 1–2 months prior to camp dates by the individual or parent.
  • Pending balance must be paid 20 days prior to the camp dates.

What We Expect

Roles & Responsibilities

Fulfil these commitments to drive collective impact for Karnataka's forests.

📣 Champion the Cause
Promote Vanalok's vision, campaigns, and goals. Act as a community ambassador for conservation and sustainability in your school, workplace, or neighbourhood.
🙋 Volunteer Commitment
Dedicate 15 days/year to Vanalok's activities, or participate in at least one major annual campaign or event.
🌱 Support Campaigns & Events
Assist in organizing eco-drives, plantations, cleanups, and community engagements. Coordinate with schools, institutions, or local bodies as needed.
📚 Knowledge Sharing & Learning
Join workshops, webinars, and trainings. Contribute skills in education, media, art, research, logistics, or community outreach.
♻️ Environmental Responsibility
Practice daily sustainability — reduce, reuse, recycle, and respect nature. Promote eco-habits in your personal and professional spaces.
📸 Report & Document
Log activities for certification. Share photos, testimonials, or stories. Submit reports if required by the program coordinator.
🤝 Collaborate & Network
Initiate projects and challenges with fellow members. Engage actively in forums, idea-sharing sessions, and peer feedback.
🏅 Integrity & Conduct
Uphold honesty, inclusivity, and respect at all times. Avoid unauthorized use of Vanalok's name or logo.

Terms & Conditions

By applying for membership, you agree to these terms, promoting ecological awareness, nature education, and sustainable practices in line with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Mission Commitment
Uphold and support Vanalok's mission, vision, and core values at all times.

Certificate Eligibility
Contribute at least 15–20 days annually or participate in one major campaign. Certificate issued only upon meeting this within the membership year.

Eligibility
Open to all individuals passionate about nature and social impact — no restrictions on age, profession, or background.

Active Participation
Engage regularly with Vanalok's communications on volunteering, campaigns, and upcoming events.

Non-Transferability
Membership is personal and non-transferable. Apply with accurate personal or organisational details only.

Code of Conduct
Act with integrity, inclusivity, and respect. Misconduct may lead to suspension or termination of membership.

Voluntary Involvement
Membership is voluntary and non-contractual, except as specified in individual programs or agreements.

Amendments
Vanalok may amend these terms at any time; all changes will be communicated promptly to all members.

Termination
Membership ends upon non-compliance with these terms or voluntary withdrawal by the member.
