About the Program

BIOMES 2.0 —
Mesmerising Meghalaya

BIOMES 2.0 – Mesmerising Meghalaya bridges this gap by taking participants into real ecosystems — where learning happens through observation, experience and reflection.

Each camp is carefully curated to explore the unique character of different biomes — in this discourse we take the participants through the forests and cave ecosystems across the Meghalayan Landscape of Cherrapunji and Shillong.

* Disclaimer — All dates for the months of April and May given are open for registration. However, please note that in case slots are not filled in on a particular date, the participants would be moved to the next batch that is filling fast (with prior intimation and consent).

What Participants Say

Voices from the Forest

Walking through a living root bridge in the mist, knowing it was grown over 500 years — I've never felt so connected to a place. Vanalok made it deeply educational.

👧
Priya Nair
Student, 15 · Kochi · Batch 3

My son came back with a nature journal full of observations, pressed leaves and questions I couldn't answer. That's exactly what a summer program should do.

👨
Vikram Rao
Parent · Hyderabad · Batch 1

As a teacher, the way Vanalok links field experience to curriculum is exceptional. The cave ecology session alone covered three chapters of environmental science.
